If you catch them at the Christian festivals this summer you will know that Hush, the new Midlands rock team founded by one time A.N.D. member Pete Emms, have the potential to be a huge Christian band. I say Christian though their stated aim is to take their music to the pubs and clubs of Britain. The A side of this cassette single "I Close My Eyes" is one of the hookiest, most forceful rock cuts these old ears have heard for years with some Gary Moore-ish guitar and a serious lyric - a denouncement of pornography. The other side "Choose" is almost as good. Send off you money to Walsall, it really is worth it.
