This is the second album from the California-based Hope Chapel on the Dream Worship label. Hope's collective of singers and musicians have been producing worship for many years but have come to greater prominence since signing with Dream. The songs are a mix of electronic pop rhythms with engaging melodies, all with a strong male lead vocal. The programmed dance beat and strange vocal effects on "Alpha Omega" is one of the standout offerings while the simple yet profound "I Found A Savior" is surely one of the best new worship songs currently circulating. Its uncompromising lyrics ("Now Jesus took my sin/The darkness was crushed in him/He broke my heart of stone/And cleansed me from within") make this an anthem which would benefit and challenge many a church congregation. The last track on 'Here My Cry' is "Heaven's Wonder", an intimate song of the dawn of eternal life. With such a powerful song as "I Found A Savior", this is an album that worship leaders across the world should try and search out.
