I'm not sure I really go for this old school gospel man's nom-de-disc but there's no denying the infectious quality of this single. Hand-clapping, foot-stomping, rooftop-raising gospel which so cleverly carries the spirit of '50s quartet gospel, it's halfway through before you notice that the group doing the call-and-response shtick of old time gospel are a set of girls rather than close harmony guys. A joyful song with a groove and lyrics recalling numerous gospel classics and a tight band bringing a bit of socking modern rhythm to the proceedings, this is a celebratory gem for all those wanting to do the Pentecostal two-step.
