This is the first release from the Psalmsound music ministry, which is seeking to extend its outreach work in East Angtia, and this is a completely self-penned CD of easy listening worship music from Hillary, assisted by two of her relatives, Benjamin and Annalise on vocals, violin, bass and keyboards, with producer Ian Melvyn-Knight contributing guitars, vocals, percussion and effects. It's clear that Psalmsound is not a big-buck operation and the programmed instruments are occasionally a tad obvious. On the other hand, Hillary has a pleasant voice and the production values are on the whole quite satisfactory. The songs are mainly in a simple Marilyn Baker style, apart from the closing track "Shout For Joy" which is almost rock 'n' roll with a tasty electric guitar solo, although the closing four-part round does go on a bit. Playing time is a bit stingy at 33 and half minutes, but for a first effort by both artist and studio, it's not bad.
