It has always been very difficult to compose children's songs that are fun and easy to sing along to, but don't sound patronising and 'cheesy'. Unfortunately, on this collection they have fallen straight into that trap. That's not to say that these songs are not great for children (in fact, I have a sister of nine who's dying to have these cassettes when I've finished with them) but, for an adult looking for musical genius and sophistication, this is not a good place to find it. Nonetheless, that is not how children's music should be assessed.
