A friend reports that the Heartsong video accompanying this album might be the 'high-energy praise from America's youth' toted by the packaging but it's also, to us Brits at least, unintentionally hilarious - a totally over-the-top extravaganza of all-singing, all-dancing, teeth-gleaming pop-praise which makes Heartbeat look like moshheads. Whether that's so, this album is pleasant enough, catchy pop praise songs sung with panache by a group of 25 teens from Southern California. Pitched somewhere between the Continentals and Heartbeat, all they lack is a lead singer of the quality of Sue Rinaldi.
