For me this is very much a mellow, sit down and relax type album with beautiful solo performances and lyrics that make the songs stand out as intimate praise pieces. The album starts with two finger-clicking, foot-tapping tracks to get you into the 'Southern-style' mood. From there on most of the other eight songs are of a more reflective gospel ballad style. I was not personally familiar with any of the songs, but I enjoyed the CD very much from the comfort of my most comfy armchair.
