Toted by some as a contender for the 'best Christian rock album of the year' this set was produced by Steve Taylor and shows off the Californian team to be on top form. "Play at maximum volume" instructs the cover, which I didn't, although it would provide a satisfying experience if you were in the mood. 13 well played and well written tracks come straight at you (apart from "Lullaby" which brings a moment of serenity). Lyrics strong, delivered with a touch of Bono by Jamie Rowe, and with Mr Taylor slurping coffee behind the controls there are no worries in that department. Interestingly, you can fold the album sleeve to get four different covers, and, like a number of tracks on the album, this review ends suddenly.

By far the best Christian rock album. Music is spot on. Lyrics are thought-stoppers. The groove is deep in faith and long on truth.

In my humble opinion, this is Guardian, at its best. Jamie's great vocals, Tony's great solos, David's great bass lines, and Carl's bangin' drums. Best of all are the lyrics, they changed my life.
