On the back sleeve the source of this album inciite.com offers a mission/company statement. "Helping build God's Kingdom by creating remarkable media experiences through media products and events that are culturally and spiritually relevant." One can only assume that the person responsible for such an OTT statement lives on a different planet to most of us. This particular "remarkable media experience" is 10 cover versions of worship songs that are popular in American churches. The covers range in quality from pretty good (Gerritt Gustafson's "Only By Grace") to the poor (the d:boys "Thank You For Saving Me" being reduced to an anaemic easy listening plod). Equally off putting is the dreary rendition of "He Loves You" but that was already one of Tomlin's weaker songs. There are many better worship albums than this one out there, even better cover version worship albums. And the lack of any info about the recordings - no vocalists, studio or producer indicated - is just another irritation.

Nothing can compare to the freedom found in the realization of God's infinite grace... and this grace finds a musical voice through ten songs collectively gathered in God, I need Grace.
