There was a lot of fuss made about this trio when their debut album was released and I couldn't understand why everybody was raving about them. 'Parade' has done little to change my mind about this irritating lightweight boy band harmony-driven pop. Okay, so they can sing in harmony! Big deal. This actually sounds like they recorded the album acapella and then added a bunch of generic drum loops, guitars and stuff afterwards. If you're a toothy American teenager who thinks that FFH are a little too edgy, this might appeal to you. It just feels as though I've heard everything on this album before, a million times and it's time that band, record label and industry worked a little harder to create something original. Until then, here's the latest in anonymous, identikit pap for you to avoid. They sing in the opening cut "Please Please Like Me".errr.No! Where's the eject button and the hammer?
