In the early 70s the Glorylanders' folk guitars and gentle harmonies were at the forefront of Christian music and their ministry of sharing Jesus through song won them many admirers. This compilation features songs culled from live performances and other odds and ends in the last 23 years and Art Pemberton, Ian Moore and Bill Simmons (collective age 149!) are still singing and sharing Jesus today. Simple songs from a simpler time. The overall feel is old fashioned, perhaps...quaint, and its main market is Germany where the band still have a big following. Not sure of the benefit of releasing this now. The sleeve notes threaten that if the dreaded N-word - nostalgia - is mentioned, the band will send the boys round to see me. Well, I'd better put the kettle on and wait, for nostalgia must be the main attraction of this collection.

These men are very good. Yes I have fond memories of their
songs such as Lifes a Rainbow, Have you ever wished, and If
ever there was just one day.
These songs have been a part of me for over 40 years.
Nostalgia? Yes...
However, I believe these songs have a clear message.... and
the message is for today!!!
