This is a great classic ccm lp to have! I like the
coppertone color cover; the lp title would become his band's
future name. I really like "Familiar Stranger"
Steven Curtis Chapman wrote the 60's styled "Tomorrow";
great song! wtg Geoff! (this same year Steven would release
his first solo lp) I love his nearly 6 minute cover version
off ccm vet Randy Matthew's 1972 song "Didn't He". I like
side 2 starter song "Face the Music". Geoff has some
great
bgv's for these songs too!:Marty McCall, Tommy Funderbunk &
Gary Pigg (all of whom have sung bgv's for other ccm artists
to include Amy Grant).
"Obey" is another favorite song on the album: some of the
members of the ccm group Whiteheart gave a hand in
songwriting. I have other recordings by Geoff and with his
group the Distance.
GOD Bless! -Don
