The packaging of the CD is amateur in appearance and is not too easy on the eye. It is most unfortunate that the nature of the packaging does relate to the content and quality of the CD itself! It is a very odd mix indeed of Christian & secular tracks. The title track "I Give You Praise" is followed by a cover of the ancient Righteous Brothers' "Unchained Melody" - see what I mean by odd? Musical accompaniment is provided by what sounds like the automated rhythms on a late '90s Casio keyboard with little flair or imagination added to lessen the feeling one is hearing a badly executed bedroom studio demo. Sadly, the vocals are on a lower level still and need a great deal of work before Gary considers releasing any further material, his case not being helped by the poor recording quality. The lyrics do nothing to inspire. I, like many, love to hear God praised and glorified, but when music is as clumsily sung and produced as this the end result is simply unlistenable.
