Garth has one of the most distinctive voices in Christ­ian music today. If anything though, his formula is looking a little more tired lately. The compilation here features songs from as far back as the mid 70s, but it lacks that vital spark which his best album 'Road To Freedom' had (none of the excellent tracks are included here). What you do have are a number of thoughtful, storyline songs. Of those "Deep Down In Debt", a 1990 single, is the best executed and it's good to hear "Light A Candle In The Darkness" again. But if you want to hear the very best of Garth try to get hold of 'Road To Freedom' and listen to "Water Water" and "No-one Is An Island
