This three-man, South London crew is taking the insular London gospel scene by storm with their powerful and bouncy music and stunned many by sweeping up a MOBO award (even though 'Destroy & Rebuild' has no retail distribution). As Gospel Link magazine quipped, G Force are a "force to be reckoned with" and with the strong collection of songs on this album one is provided with highly convincing evidence of this fact. The trio manage to combine hot beats, produced largely by teenage producer Victizzle, with great lyricism and the clear, unabashed message of the Gospel. This CD moves from all out anthems such as "God's Bigger Than" and deeply soulful romantics on "Love," all the way to profound testimonial reflections on self with "Focused" and uplifting encouragement on "Hold On". There is wide range of topics represented, moving seamlessly with the heavily UK influenced beats, to present a very "complete" sounding album. Expect to find depth of subject matter, beats to make the listener prone to neck injury and unashamed fun. With its hip-hop, garage, R&B and grime elements this is further proof of the wellspring of talent that lies in the UK, this young group has put together a distinct and fresh sound that has culminated in a highly impressive album.
