Following on from the release of their debut album 'Odottanut Oon' in 2006, this Finnish dance music outfit return with their follow-up. Comprising female vocalist Miia and producer Kimmo, G-Powered are a trance act that have been making waves on the European dance scene. This album has all the classic features which make for a great trance album. From the thumping beats and driving basslines to the rising and falling synth and key lines and soaring female vocals this album shows off the fantastic production skills they clearly have. The use of contrast in dynamics, textures and rhythms stop this album from becoming tedious as is so easy with a trance record. The vocals are all in Finnish on the 2008 release of this album but there are plans to create an English language version in the near future. If you are a fan of trance music you need to be looking out for G-Powered.
