Taken from his 'Welcome To The Real World' album, this is the best song recorded by Frankie Knuckles. Frankie's gospel pedigree is of some note - he makes no secret of his faith - and in a recent interview in Music Week noted that the best reason for living in Chicago was waking up to gospel music on Sunday mornings! This song features the soulful vocals of Adeva and the collective voices of the Ricky Dillard's New Generation Chorale and has a top quality garage production. The lyrics are uncompromisingly gospel, "I'm walkin' with Jesus/Walkin' with my Lord" and at the time of writing is top of the playlist of legendary dance DJ Tony Humphries of Hot 97, New York, which is just about the highest accolade in dance music. A likely single from the album and an essential purchase.
