This is the Cameroonian singer/songwriter's second album, recorded in the East End of London, showcasing her songs which often have something of a calypso sound to them. But they often also reminiscent of the more bland coffee shop and church chorus material we heard in the '70s while Francoise's vocals are pretty poor and often overwhelmed by a natural vibrato. Luke Henderson does his best in arranging, producing, playing every instrument, doing the backing vocals and everything else but it really does not cover up the weakness of the songs or Francoise's voice. Whilst an improvement over her previous album, 'I'm A Sinner' is not going to have broad appeal.
