This is the first full length album from Canadian gospel singer/songwriter Felicia and it's primarily a collection of poptastic soulful highs, albeit sprinkled with a couple of odd and unnecessarily saccharine interludes. This 2010 release follows the single "You're My Comfort" in May 2010 and prior to that, an EP containing five of the album tracks, released in 2008. Felicia's silky, soulful tones are perfectly suited to contemporary gospel and it's easy to hear influences such as Yolanda Adams and Anita Baker. The opening "You're My Comfort" is well constructed for radio play and there are several standout worship tracks which allow the strength of her vocals to shine. "Fear No Evil" effectively features some upbeat, Cuban-inspired sounds while, on the downside, the two spoken interludes, "Interview" and "Felicia's World", are unnecessary and clearly just filler.
