Funky techno pop from a blue eyed soulman already eulogised back in CR5. Several songs and an overlong spoken intro deal with the dehumanising aspects of the computer revolution. The hooks are strong, there's plenty of kick in the programming and Eric's sinuous voice oozes soulfully over the ricocheting rhythms. The outstanding track is "Touch" where a gospel-style choir courtesy of Angelo & Veronica, Cindy Morgan and others give a surging exultant edge to the proceedings. A fine album from one of America's most underrated talents.
