If you've ever listened to any old Elvis gospel tracks you have an idea of what to expect on this disc. With bluesman Barry Bynum on bvs and a host of talented Ulster musos we find a sincere enough disc that will easily be acceptable in the Northern Irish church scene, but I hope Eddie gets a chance to get this stuff into pubs and working men's clubs 'cause it would go down a treat. The style is more country-cum-rockabilly shuffles than straight country and to be fair it will probably never see the young and trendy Festival scene, but for those who enjoy the sound of the '50s and with no chance of the "Can't make out the words" moan...this could be for you.
