A sister from London’s Calvary Charismatic Baptist Church pastored by Isaac Kamweru, this is an album which has its moments but is let down by some stereotyped songwriting (Ebi wrote all the songs here), weak production which tries hard to be urban and funky but sometimes sounds distinctly demo quality and Ebi’s voice which strangely works well on the multi-tracked bvs/choruses but handling leads occasionally fluffs notes, like on the mid-tempo “All Of You”. Stradling R&B gospel and trad gospel genres, it’s never truly convincing in either.
