Describing their music as melodic punk rock, Dogwood have their own distinctive sound. It goes beyond punk rock. Both albums are medium/fast paced, with intense drumming (sometimes sounding messy). Josh Kemble sings melodically over the top with his distinctively throaty and coarse voice (very occasionally out of tune, unfortunately), with occasional harmonies added. 'This Is Not...' is their self-produced 1998 album, released by Facedown for the die-hard fan.
