The quality on this, Dogwood's sixth album, is understandably much better than on '(This Is Not.)'. Now to upset the die-hards: I think that Dogwood is holding back their talent by limiting themselves to punk rock. They are so obviously talented and versatile, and glimmers of further artistic avenues are apparent on many tracks on 'Matt Aragon,' especially the title track, "Nothing Is Everything", "Point Counterpoint" and "A Hope Unseen" (hints of Rush?). I think they should ruffle some feathers and break further out of the punk mold. Be bold and explore.
