This compilation of praise songs sounded very familiar. There are so many songs like this in churches across the land and across the world that it's hard to find anything that makes this album stand out. Granted it is the product of talent from the London area with some little known musicians, singers and songwriters who are pretty good. But it's hardly original. Yet there is some sincere sentiment that you can listen to and incline your heart to the Lord in worship. It does have its moments both musically with one or two tracks showing some originality in sound, and lyrically, when for instance some lines appear to reflect the prayers of prodigal Christians returning to the faith. I think that it will find it hard to compete with the rest of the "let your Spirit burn in us"-type material that abounds. A pity really.
