I would love to get hold of any recording, vinyl, Cd, mp3, etc, of Diane Tong. I have loved her voice for years, and have lost most of of my records. If you could help me get hold of a copy, of "Land Of The Living" or any other recording of Diane Tong's, I would really appreciate it. Thank you.

Sorry so long to get back to you. I know we have had a few CDs copies made since we ran out-and more 8-tracks laying around in storage than one needs to build a small city-they were pretty much on the way out at the time, but try convincing the company. We could just make one for you and send it. I've never had an mp3 myself.
My beliefs have gone through lots of purging and refining times-almost lost, though not really. I found that I had to really be true to myself in the face of people who had more power and influence and less love for me than I had believed. I'm surprised that I did come through the other side--and to peace with myself and all that needs to be. And finally to be free to begin to write again.
Are you a writer, musician?

To Byron, Johan, Michael and David--thanks for writing. I have not checked these sites for awhile. I don't have access to the old 8-tracks anymore nor cds. I'm busy surviving graduate school (at my age!) and am still barely figuring computers out--but maybe when I'm not so swamped I could send you the old album in some form. I'm honored by your words. And Johan--I received more royalties from the Netherlands than anywhere else! I hope I can record my new songs from these last few years.

Hello Diane, I met you at a festival in 1980 at a little place called Pioneer Village. I fell in love with your music then and purchased the record from you on the spot. Still have it and listen when I can. Unfortunately it is scratched and some of the songs are damaged. I was wondering if it would be possible to get one of those 8 tracks you have. I still have the ability to listen to them. I have been looking for you on the net for some time, glad to see you are back and hope to hear from you again soon.

Hello Diane, Ya know I don't observe the Christian belief anymore, but I am spiritual and believe in God. I have to tell you I used to own your album and being a songwriter and musician, your music and your voice was so hypnotizing. I just heard your song "Land of the Living" today at 3:02 am here in Calgary for the first time since the 80's when all the Christian Rock bands were the craze, bands like Quickflight, Barnabus,The Rez Band,Keith Green, Petra,Amy Grant, and Gary Chapman, The Daniel band,Phil Keggy, I've met them all! I hope God has blessed you in so many ways since I last heard your album, and you could really bless me by telling me where I can buy your album or get it on a cd, or mp3 format... I used to play it over and over and play along with it on my 12 string.... Please get back to me and let me know how you are doing, and I can make arrangements with you to buy your album....
