Funny, I was only thinking the other day, 'Long time since a new release by Niecey.' When artists' careers are stalling a tad record companies can always revert to a 'Best Of compilation. Like this one. Considering that the bulk of the tracks are pulled from only two albums 'So Glad I Know' and 'Special Love' the album zings with freshness such was the superlative nature of those source LPs. There's also a cut from the early 'In The Beginning' and the rather grizzly children's album 'Lullabies To Dreamland'. Swoon over the soul perfection of Niecey's three octave voice here while waiting for a new album.
