Deitiphobia are a difficult band to define. Regarding their stylistic leanings, I suppose industrial/alternative dance is the best description. Expect to be challenged by the lyrics, which are nothing short of inspired, repeatedly exhorting the listener to seek God for cleansing from unrighteousness. You don't hear an album like this very often. Let me give some quotes: "Every night I kiss the clay/Every night I turn and say to you/I'll do better when the sun comes up/Every time I hear you say/Every breath you take today is authored by myself/I am the Lord you neglect to glorify" ("Take The Sin"); "I could never find the words if I tried and cried for all my hurt/This plank I try to see you through is killing my chance to know the truth/I know you know this all has got to go/It seems I can't even speak to ask you 'friend or foe?'" ("The Shake Part Two"). Heavy stuff! As per industrial, the music relies heavily on electric guitars, sound effects/samples and distorted vocals, which portray the message very well indeed. You may not understand this album at first but buy and be challenged.
