Deborah Clarke is a British-based singer/songwriter and sister of Darren Clarke of Vineyard USA fame. She's been singing and writing since she was a tot, and this is her debut recording. It's a four-song EP recorded in California, with assistance in various forms from brothers Darren and younger sibling James. It certainly succeeds in showing off her musical diversity. The first track is a catchy pop number which allows Deb's voice and spirit to soar to the skies. Slightly more subdued, but nonetheless quirky and appealing, is both the title-track and the closing "I'll Be Alright". In distinction, "Dawn" is a moody song of reflection. A finely produced mini-disc and an excellent foretaste of the full length recordings which are bound to follow.
