Kudos to crossrhythms for locating this top classic album with top gospel/ccm songwriter Geron Davis.
I have played this album so many times and I never tire of hearing the songs over and over again.
Geron and his wife Becky along with Tim Pedigo, offer some of the best songs to be heard that have become standards in the gospel/ccm field.
One in particular is the outstanding, Heaven-sent "Holy Ground"; who has not heard this song in the gospel/ccm genre. "I Should" is highly commendable; this is a song to remember in down times. "If It's Praise YOU Love" became a fast favorite; Becky lead vocals are so
heavenly; she also sings lead on side 2 starter,
"Something About My Praise"; this is another top lp fave, just love it immensely! "My Father's House" is such an awesome song, a place where we can always go and bear our soul. "Farewell" is the perfect closing song, a chorus that every church should sing at the end of services.
