This is a collection of five meditations read by David Adam, Vicar of Lindisfarne until March 2003. Prayers, Scripture and words of encouragement are interspersed with excerpts of beautiful Celtic music. The overall theme focuses on seeing God with our heart and letting the scales fall from our earthly eyes. David draws on the belief of the early Church that we have a deeper sight than just seeing with our eyes, which they called "seeing with the eye of the heart." When listening to this I found a place of peace where I could close my eyes and block out the distractions around me. If you are struggling to find that place of peace at the moment I would recommend this as a good starting point to focus your heart and mind on God. Your heart will draw strength from David's words of inspiration and encouragement and your mind soothed by the peaceful Celtic arrangements.
