The last Christmas album by the country crooner sold an impressive 300,000 plus copies so clearly this latest set is bound to attract thousands of holiday time purchasers, particularly as it includes new recordings of such perennials as "Hark The Herald Angels Sing", "Angels We Have Heard On High" and "O Little Town Of Bethlehem". It's not all trad carols though, Daniel sings a pleasant version of Greene and Lowry's "Mary, Did You Know?" while the choice of the thought-provoking "Christmas Day 1915" is an inspired one. All it lacks to push the sales into the stratosphere is a duet with Susan Boyle.
