What a great 70's release for upcoming ccm sound and lyrics.
This guy jumped on the bandwagon at quite an early stage;
and to date has 30 years of recordings for ccm genre.
The album title ends side 1, though it would have made a
great starter song. Great bgvs with that known 70's style
and sound can be heard throughout the whole album. A self
penned Holm song starts the songs "Let My Light Shine". I
really like "The Secret
(I Met GOD in the morning). Dallas does some well known
cover songs as Mr. Crouch's "The Blood will Never Lose its
Power" and "The Solid Rock" written by the late gospel
songwriter John W. Peterson and recorded just 2 years prior
by John's 3 daughters known as the Peterson Trio; "Get All
Excited" a Bill & Gloria Gaither tune. "Song of the Sinner"
is another that reaches with words as well as another penned
Holm song "No Good Thing Have I Done. This is nice paver
for the ccm sound to become familiar worldwide in less than
10 years. GOD Bless! -Don
