DW3, or Down With 3 as they were first known when formed by the Mondragon brothers and their cousin way back in 1994, play old skool R&B and encompass such styles as funk, jazz and Latin. Today, the group still remind the listener of artists such as Stevie Wonder and Luther Vandross, but they also encompass modern R&B on tracks such as the title track and "I Like". They are good vocalists and musicians and have a smooth sound, and have played with such luminaries as James Brown, Jonathan Butler and Al Jarreau. The album starts with the intro which plays like a radio station with DW3 as the main band this carries on through the album to the outro. It also has a hidden track which is an acoustic version of the song "Rain". This album lyrically is predominately about human love which is fine, however there is nothing to indicate the group's faith except for a small thank you to God in the sleevenotes. Having said that, there is plenty of rhythmic flow on offer here so if you enjoy modern R&B you might want to check out DW3.
