More of the same amazing DJing from DJ Maj on this his second 'MixTape'. With just under 20 tracks all expertly mixed together, with scratches (which have to be heard to be believed) and cuts, making this one tight package. 'Full Plates' goes one step further than your average compilation, as most of the tracks are unavailable elsewhere. Styles range from Deep South through to East Coast with contributions coming from Out Of Eden (excellent remix of "Spirit Moves" from their previous album 'No Turning Back'), Grits, Knowdaverbs and John Reuben to name a few. Outstanding tracks, for me are those featuring New Breed, Pigeon John and DJ Form; watch out for these guys. Definitely an essential purchase for anyone into hip hop.
