As you might expect from a DJ who cut his teeth in the nightclub scene, this record is full of energy with plenty to get you dancing but Kirk shows that he has more to offer than dancefloor fillers. Opener "You're The One" gets the party started with soaring melodies, a pumping beat and an anthemic chorus that is sure to get the hands in the air and the dance floor rocking. "Never Was" follows with a more reflective feel opening with a simple guitar lead before synths come washing in and thunder clap drums build the atmosphere. "All Of Me" is probably the most pop track on the record and another uplifting anthem opening with keys striking out chords before the euphoric synth strings kick in for the chorus - this is sure to be another to get the dancefloor moving. DJ Kirk doesn't really conform to one style of dance music, drawing on a wide range of influences and sounds and with some very strong guest vocalists. Particularly outstanding is Abigail Duhon on the breakbeat "Unfailing Love". The lyrics throughout convey a clear message lifting God up in praise and the production carries that through with the arrangements and instrumentation combining to give an uplifting feel. This is definitely a feel good record.
