Crown Of Roses are led by William and James Jampo and have recently signed a distribution deal with Canadian American Records. Throughout this double CD, their vocal harmonies prevail in the retro style of The Byrds or Crosby, Stills & Nash. From the opening track "Holy Wounds" through to "Together You And Me", we are treated to a feast of Americana, folk and gentle rock. Lyrically, the disc leans to a Catholic persuasion with songs such as "Saint Jude", "Ave Maria" and "Mary Talks To Us". On occasions the harmonies do slip and the odd interlude such as "Outtake By Jampo Children" and "Arthur's Tribute" make little sense to those outside the Crown Of Roses circle. However, this album rewards close listening.

LIke what you say about the Crown of Roses, Second Taste LP.
A double CD released back in 2000-0004.
Yes, catholic persuasion and great harmoinies. I think
they sound like Badfinger or The Beatles, but have their
own original sound. I heard Crown of Roses is presently
recording their 7th studio album with a new Producer.
Can't Wait!
