Reviewed by Matthew Cordle Whoever proofread the title of this disc should visit the Apostrophe Protection Society website for a little light reading... Assuming we're talking about the praise of creation, the premise of the disc is well described on the back cover: "The Scriptures tell us that 'all creation worships' - the rocks, the trees and everything that has breath, shall praise the Lord. Experience the sounds of creation woven into your favourite instrumental worship in this beautiful album which is both restful and inspiring. Nature sounds include oceans, forests, mountains and playful dolphins and the song of the humpback whale! Listen...Unwind...Enjoy...Worship." That will either warn you off or entice you in, depending on your proclivity to the sounds of nature, as it's quite clear what you're going to encounter here. Each track begins with recordings like the sounds of forest wildlife, ocean waves or whale song while the hymns, all public domain oldies, are played by Brit musicians such as Simeon Wood and John Gerighty and for all I know, have been previously released without the nature sounds. The playing is sensitive and gentle in its delivery. The trouble is, after 20 very similar tracks of the same type the concept gets a bit dull while some of the nature sounds, such as the whale song, simply interferes with the music and doesn't work on any level.
