Reviewed by Dustin Helgeson Songs on this new release by Cornerstone Church, based in Johnson, TN, aren’t all new, and this is not cutting edge worship from America. The Cornerstone Church worship band covers the usual Matt Redman, Martin Smith, and Tim Hughes worship songs, and a few others as well. These days a local church with enough sound gear, money, and ProTools (a computer mixing program) can make a worship record. This worship disk was probably made with the intent of encouraging the ministry of worship in the Church, and outside of their own church doors. There are good musical arrangements on some tracks, but there is nothing too fresh. One standout track, apart from the decent covers of standard modern worship, is the song “How Good It Is”, the kind of song that defines a local church and becomes a favorite among them.
