It's been a decade since Code Of Ethics last released an album. In the meantime group leader Barry Blaze has done some solo stuff and nearly got himself killed in a motorbike accident. Thankfully he's still with us and Code have made a return with a new pop album. Always good at creating hooky songs and poppy production, I can report that the 21st century version of the group still sounds fresh. The title cut, as you'd expect, has a nice little sample of Egyptian style melody on there and a good thumping groove. Got to confess I love the danceable grooves of "Perfect" and "Good Bye" and elsewhere the '80s electronic pop influences are still shining bright including homage to Depeche Mode with a version of their "People Are People". It's a solid return and Barry Blaze has certainly still got it!
