Here's some fresh dance music from American outfit Cloud2Ground. Jeremy Dawson and Chad Petree are the men behind the music and the album mixes ambient tracks with more upbeat material. Samples are looped, female vocals float across the musical horizon except on the wonderful "Boomerang" where Tracey Truels sings lead and the results are an excellent 11 minute epic. Worth buying just for this track alone. Another highlight is the title cut which is a snappy piece of drum'n'bass underpinning more floating ambience. Similarly the closing "Aurora More" is a thumping floor-filler but with enough atmospheres to keep everything interesting. "New Score Of Siberia" has to be my favourite though because of the manner in which it seems to sum up all the different elements of the album in one track!
