This has to be one of the best albums I have heard in a long time, it's creative with loadza variety and features some of the best soul swingers around, such as Peace 586 and Sup. Carl Brown aka Clever MC gives a shout out to such Christian hip hop pioneers as P.I.D. and Grits and I am glad to say he does them proud with his highly creative rapalicious, jazz, smooth, fresh coast thing. The album features several classic tracks that demand play on play. The fresh coast "Natural Method" is a breath of pure oxygen, it's sheer "rhyme intoxication", with jazz piano, mellow beats, brill vocal line up and a distinct S.F.C. feel. "Chosen Instruments" is a laid back funk groove, punctuated with resonatin' vox, overlayed with DJ Shep on bass. "Freedom" is a nocturnal wind down with the soulishly smooth Kerry Drew and Cordell. Clever is genuine in his delivery of the truth and the obstacles that are thrown at us on our journey through the 'Maze Of Life' to the cross of Christ.
