Circle Of Faith are a collection of musicians based at a Catholic church in Sparta, New Jersey and this release sees them team up with experienced vocalist TK Pry to offer up eight songs that seek to worship God. Proceedings kick off with the jaunty "Praying To Jesus" on what sounds like a worship album straight out of the early '80s and, whilst this outmoded approach doesn't offer up anything that's not heard before, the band - headed up by founder members Art Suriano and Derek Davodowich - are more than competent enough to make their offering of easy listening tunes work. In addition, Pry has a classic middle of the road voice which is completely suited to the overall feel of the release and her performance gives slow ballads like "Into The Light" and "Here I Am" the lift they need. All involved attempt to keep things varied with some cod rock in "Give Music To The Lord" and the nylon guitar-festooned bossanova of "I Trust In You" whilst the somewhat cheesy "Water Into Wine" ends this dated but undoubtedly God-focussed release in upbeat fashion.
