'One Reason' isn't the kind of sound that is likely to get airplay this side of the pond, but no one can deny that this is carefully crafted pop by two exceptional singers. When two acclaimed musical artists come together in a collaboration, the chances were that the outcome was going to be something pretty impressive. Chynna Phillips, of the mainstream hitmakers Wilson Phillips ("Hold On", "Release Me") and Vaughan Penn - whose credits include New Music Weekly Top 40 Breakthrough Artist Of The Year 2007 and television shows such as Grey's Anatomy, The Hills and Laguna Beach - have come together through a shared and strong faith in order to share their relationship with God with others. Musically the collaboration works well. The counterpoint of their very distinctive voices, accentuated by organic sounding country-tinged accompaniments, is a delight while the devotional lyrics, though not breaking much new ground, are obviously sincere.

Product Description
The duo of Chynna & Vaughan is the result of a divine collaboration between two artists with diverse musical backgrounds but shared journeys of faith.
Chynna Phillips achieved international fame and recognition as a member of the pop sensation, Wilson Phillips. With hits such as Hold On, Release Me, You’re In Love and Impulsive, Wilson Phillips sold over 10 million copies worldwide. Yet despite this extraordinary success, Chynna did not experience true joy and peace until she gave her life to Jesus Christ six years ago.
Vaughan Penn earned respect and credibility in the national independent music scene by receiving such accolades as ‘Top 40 Breakthrough Artist of the Year’ (New Music Weekly Awards 2007.) Her songs have been prominently featured in over 100 films and television programs including Grey’s Anatomy, Criminal Minds, Numb3rs, Boston Public, The Hills, Laguna Beach and many others. She has also toured with renowned artists as Huey Lewis and The News, Emmylou Harris and Edwin McCain. However, when Vaughan was faced with a life-threatening medical condition four years ago, she committed her music career to God. After recovering, she began to write songs to encourage others to develop a relationship with Christ.
Although their musical career paths were distinctive and unique, Chynna & Vaughan formed a creative partnership based on their mutual passion to share the hope of Christ with a hurting world.
Their self-titled debut release conveys themes of redemption, forgiveness and hope with a musical canvas of authentic, organic and honest instrumentations and harmony-rich arrangements.
