Chip Houston hails from Atlanta, Georgia. He gigs a lot and spent two years on this album. It was hard to decide which musical category to put ‘Chasing The Dark’ in because it would fit a few. The truth is that it's really AOR. The track “Aimless” has gotten good airplay on a new rock radio station 99x in Atlanta; but does Chip's music travel? I guess that all depends on your musical taste: If you're into Loggins, James Taylor or Mellencamp, this just might be the ticket. He has a good voice and he plays his (acoustic) guitar well and the album is crisp and tight.
