Well, this is certainly quite Celtic and quite good really. Which considering this is the sixth offering in this series is quite an achievement in itself. A mix of old and new songs with a couple of great new ones (which I liked the best). All the “right” musicians (Fitzgerald, Bryant) are present which keeps the music standard high. Can I have a quibble? Well there is a lot of blurb going an about how “authentic” this is. I must say that although it’s great as a kind of Celtic-styled collection I can never think of saxophone or djembe as authentic Celtic instruments - so why call it such? A small and quite petty quibble but let's have done with the marketing-speak.
