The latest album from Atlanta-based Casting Crowns sees the award-winning band power up their amps once again after their recent greatest hits acoustic excursion. The driving song of repentance "All You've Ever Wanted" opens proceedings in style and sees the group at full pelt with Mark Hall's trademark throaty vocals at the fore. Thankfully, the band have chosen to include a variety of styles with the beautifully tender "Broken Together" mixing well with the likes of the bluesy "Dream For You" as well as the upbeat and rejoicing title track. Elsewhere, the punchy string-laden "Love You With The Truth" is an expertly pitched challenge to all Christians about witnessing to loved ones before it's too late whilst the acoustic Alison Krauss-like "Follow Me" echoes Jesus' words to his disciples to betray a depth and maturity that comes from years of songwriting experience. The inventive and wonderfully chilling "Waiting On The Night To Fall" - a warning against complacency regarding the devil - is arguably the standout track on this already outstanding release and sees Casting Crowns refreshingly willing to take a chance and most certainly at the top of the game.
