The Atlanta-based worship leader is currently busy recording a new album but has found time to put together a four track EP with remixes of three tracks from his first album 'Coming Alive'. While that was a straight rock affair, this is well into dance territory with some imaginative reworking going on. "Awakening" loses its heavy guitar riffs and gains driving electronic drums and synth lines. "Coming Alive" has similar treatment with a booming synth bass line driving it along. "Brilliant Light" gets a couple of remixes, the first ("Illuminated") is a trance style romp while the second ("StonAir") has an almost reggae feel at times. While they may not be floor fillers they certainly work as dance numbers - unlike a lot of rock songs - and the remixes have been done well. Definitely worth looking up on iTunes.
