This sounds to me like an in-house project, not that the sleeve or the church website is giving anything away. This Bristol-based church was founded by South Africans Gerri and Michelle Di Somma back in 1999 and seems to have attracted a very international mix of people, a fact that is celebrated on the sleeve of this CD. All titles are self-penned and whilst the playing is competent and the overall sound pleasant enough, the sheer wealth of high-quality worship albums around would probably render this a fairly so-so effort. Still, I'm sure these songs are sung with gusto and passion at Carmel each week, and that's what matters in the end.

the God thing reloaded song is the best.

I was given this CD as a thank you present and I am only sorry that Carmel is so far away from where I live. What a wealth of talent. The more I listen to this album, I find myself drawn to different songs then previously both lyrically and musically. And each time hear something different. The God Thing Remix is just awesome. I love this CD

It is amaizing how that as we are on our christian walk and in relationship with God,trying times and exciting times will always come and it is very encouraging that in those times they are people who have written songs which we can draw from and receive healing and strength to go on.

the words to each song draws you into the presence of God. the songs are catchy and the artists very talented. this cd is definately worth getting if you really desire drawing close to God.

Although there may be some truth in the comment about the album's comparison to other high-quality worship albums, yet there's no mistaken the amount anoiting and meaning to these song's! After all this is just the small beginnings for the Carmel... there is no limit to what God can do in the future!!! AND THERE NO DOUBT ABOUT THAT!

By far one of the best worship albums I've heard. The songs really speak to your heart, and you can tell that they come straight from the spirit of God. The music is really uplifting, and caters to many desired styles and tastes in music. I would recommend this album to everyone, no matter how old or young, if you don't have it, then buy it NOW!!!

this album is healthy food to the spirit and really ministers and empowers... it has good sing along songs that at the same time equipt and empower one both physically and spiritually. if you are feeling low and sad, i strongly suggest you get you"a GOD THING" cd and just after a song if not the whole cd you'll surely feel blessed, stronger and happy.

Seem's like someone has got their wires crossed! This albums awesome. An independent album with an individual sound reveals to me that God is a creative God. Whilst His message never changes, the way we package things HAS to.
