Who can deny this guys longevity? After successfully releasing countless albums comes this cheerful compilation of hits from the New Jersey native. Yes, we've seen Carman collections before but this is the ultimate! Love him or hate him Carman is one of the all time great music ministers with an abundance of successful albums and groundbreaking tours. So those at Sparrow Records decided to put together a double disc of his best stuff from the last 15 years. I must admit though, it had been quite a while since I willingly slipped a Carman disc into the player but boy did the nostalgia flow. All the favourites are here, 22 in total including "R.I.O.T.", "Sunday School Rock", "A Witch's Invitation", "Radically Saved", "There Is A God" and "The Champion". Indeed it has been over 20 years since Carman first aired "The Champion" but on each listen this live track still makes the hairs on my neck stand up and is a track worthy to end any collection on. The monologues epitomise Carman as a great storyteller and an artist who was never ashamed to say that "black is black and white is white".
